CHILDREN’S GARDEN OF LEARNING
Location: Vail, CO
Golden Constructors was selected by the Town of Vail to deliver Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for the Children’s Garden of Learning Relocation project. Leveraging our longstanding relationship with the Town and our proven track record on similar projects, we successfully delivered the project on time and within budget.
The project involved preparing an existing site to accommodate five modular buildings, which were manufactured off-site by Palomar Modular Buildings and assembled on-site to form a cohesive 4,965-square-foot early childhood education facility. Golden Constructors provided full site and utility infrastructure, coordinated delivery and placement of the modular units, and executed all on-site construction activities.
Scope highlights included the installation of architectural wood siding and roof elements to enhance the aesthetic integration of the modular structures, construction of covered entry decks, and development of a raised outdoor play area with retaining walls. The facility was designed to serve 75–80 preschool aged children and required close coordination with the Town, modular manufacturer, and design team to meet licensing and early childhood education standards.
